Reincarnation: can birthmarks be from tattoos in a previous life?

I have a question that has always intrigued me. I’ve read about reincarnation a lot, and seen that birthmarks can often be a sign that you were injured in that particular spot in a past life. I was born with a bird-shaped birthmark on my right hip, just above the butt cheek. To me, it looks like a bird with its wings outstretched. I had a very powerful dream once about a bird in the sky, with its wings outstretched, and I think it was related to a past life.

Have any of you ever heard about, or read about people finding out that their birthmarks were tattoos from a prior life? Possibly from time in the military or something? I have this feeling it was to signify that I belonged to some sort of group in a past life – maybe a military regiment.

I would appreciate any thoughts you have. Thanks!

If that’s the case then some who have bunch of tattoos on their skin will be reincarnated with bunch of birthmarks?

Maybe? Injuries and death blows have strong energy, which is why some carry their marks to the next life. Tattoos can have their own energy too, especially if they have special meaning, so I can see that being possible

That would make sense… I’m also getting intuitively that it could be part of an initiation in some type of tribe. Maybe a coming-of-age type initiation… Definitely something marking some type of big milestone

My understanding is that they are from emotionally impactful bodily injuries.

That could be tribal, accidents, self-inflictions.

OP here – I have also had lot of dreams with the Phoenix or Thunderbird in them. I feel very drawn to art and jewelry with the Phoenix motif. Not sure if that signals a Native American life, or not.

I’ve heard this too and I have a pretty big, round birthmark on my forehead but it has faded lots over the years…

I have found birthmarks are typically from past life wounds. Whether shot or stabbed etc. Not all birthmarks but that is what I have found with mine. Good Luck!!!
