For the veterans of r/witchcraft, you have nothing to fear from these words.
However, for those of you who think that categorizing ANYBODY simply by the color of their skin is acceptable, even one tiny glimpse of your inner thoughts ***WILL*** land you a permanent ban.

I don’t care who you are, I don’t care what you look like, and I don’t care what group you’re targeting: Targeting ***ANY*** group of ***ANY*** people in this manner is NOT tolerated.
This particularly classless individual even had a word in their name from a non-English language frequently used by Neo Nazis; you see, when you make very low and callous attacks, regarding other people’s skin color – and when we check your profile, then find that you fit the category of a Nazi – I’m going to ban you. Hands down.
An small excerpt from the modmail that they sent us:
>That’s why most hexes and curses come from indigenous cultures
I’m not going to say who this was, but when she sees it, she’ll know; I’ll add that their tattoos and body modifications say so much more about their white power attitude than their comment ever could have.
We do not tolerate intolerance.
We do not tolerate unkindness.
We do not tolerate exclusion.
We do not tolerate bigotry.
We see through your illusions, and we see through your mists. If you hold racist ideals then on this subreddit you have two choices: Never mention it here, or find a different subreddit because this one will not stand for it. At all. Ever.

It’s sickens me that such a rule is needed. And even more so when I realized that, most rules are reactionary, put into effect because of someone.

Also, when I asked them why they’re focusing so much on skin color, they retaliated by saying that they were going to post it to TikTok.

What idiot is going to be racist on a subreddit about witchcraft? We’re all about being inclusive no matter the skin color, gender, or age.

I love this post and I love this rule! This is a community worthy of engaging in.

Just to be as clear as possible, we have an absolutely zero tolerance for any type of racism. All who engage in that activity will be banned and reported to reddit for violation of reddits site wide rules against hate speech. This can result in a person being kicked off of reddit entirely.

Thank you for this post! I’m always shocked that the moderators of a witchcraft community on reddit of all places is the best I’ve ever seen, but you guys are on top of it.
