CharlesParticipantHello I’m sure most of the millennials are either nearing their Saturn return or just done with their return. I was wondering if they were any tips to survive it and learn the lesson Saturn is indeed trying to teach. Thanks!
Edit: thanks stranger for the award 😊

GuestOctober 12, 2021 at 7:06 pmLean in to it. I saw someone on another post use the epithet leather daddy saturn and that couldn’t be a more apt metaphor. Saturn is all about structure and limitations. If you accept that the shitty things that are happening and pushing you to do something, bend with the pressure so you don’t break. Do the work and you’ll find that while it is still difficult and sometimes brutal, you can actually handle all the weight Saturn is putting on your shoulders. Even with the start of covid last year I could immediately feel that weight lift off my shoulders when Saturn transitted out of Capricorn for the first time.

GuestOctober 12, 2021 at 7:06 pmThe Astrology Podcast has a few episodes that might be really helpful for you – there’s a more general one on understanding your Saturn return, and then Saturn in Scorpio and Saturn in Sagittarius retrospective eps where they go over listener stories about their Saturn returns. Lots of good info and perspectives!

GuestOctober 12, 2021 at 7:06 pmI am in mine until the middle of 2022, and I think I’m having an easier go of it because I started doing a ton of shadow work and inner child healing in the spring of 2020. I also got a Saturn return reading from someone I knew from YouTube and I listen to the recording every few months. I feel like it helps keep me grounded and reminds me that it will pass, I just have a lesson to learn first.
And I have completely forgotten about some things until right now but as I’m writing this I’m already seeing where patterns are being ended and new habits and boundaries are being placed in my life, especially with father figures. So that’s cool.
Overall, I would suggest getting a reading so you have some insight as to what kind of lessons you may need to learn, and then journal or take notes and watch yourself grow. And as I mentioned in the beginning I think working on healing the inner child will really help with the lessons. Last year the conversations I had to have were tough, this year they have been so amazing already, and all of that started with the work I put in leading up to my SR. -

GuestOctober 12, 2021 at 7:06 pmAs someone else said, try not to ‘fear’ your saturn return. It will affect everyone differently. I had mine two years ago and whilst I wasn’t blatantly aware of it at the time as I didn’t have the astrology knowledge I have now, looking back I can acknowledge that I got off pretty easily. Nothing dramatic happened, I didn’t have any terrible hardships…I think more than anything I just started changing my outlook on life and friendships and goals etc. I feel like I really grew up and became very comfortable with myself.
As others have suggested, take the time to reply look at your chart and analyse what else is happening so you can be prepared. Saturn can be a hard energy and he will teach you lessons, but he always reward you for hard work. He comes in strong and then leaves you a gift.
