What and where is your venus/mercury? I have merc ret in my chart and retro is a breeze for me. Does your venus make good or bad aspects to your mercury and sun, I would start there.

The pandemic? I would not schedule any non-urgent procedures at this time. That is also dependent on where you live, though.
