    hey! i am fairly well versed on the more often discussed topics of astrology (houses/sign placements/planets and aspects such as square/sextile/trine/opposition/conjunction) but i am finding it hard to find good cheaper or free resources on degrees or lesser discussed aspects such as quincunx/semisextile or multi planet aspects such as yod/t-square/grand cross/star of david and i was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for me! anything is more than welcome 🙂

    edit: also just any good thorough books that yall think are essentials would be helpful !

    The Carole Taylor vid from the other commenter is good. For another book, try **Dynamics of Aspect Analysis** by Bil Tierney (one “L”). It covers the following, in addition to the standard ptolemaic aspects:

    * semi-sextile (30 degrees, and not a part of the sextile family but the inconjunct, along with the quincunx)
    * quincunx (150)
    * semi-square (45)
    * sesquisquare (135)
    * quintile (72)
    * septile (51 deg 26 min)
    * novile (40)
    * grand trine (including descriptions by element)
    * minor grand trine
    * kite
    * grand sextile (star of david)
    * grand square (grand cross)
    * mystic rectangle
    * t-square
    * yod (including what he calls the “reaction point” and others call a tetradic yod)
    * unaspected planets
    * retrograde

    For those aspect patterns that have a focal planet, such as t-squares and yods, he does give descriptions of each planet in that focal position.

    It’s pretty difficult to find much on the more rare aspects and aspect patterns. And he doesn’t go into all variations of, for example the quintile (ie semi-quintile, sesquiquintile, biquintile), nor for the septile series. It’s still a very helpful book.
