Signs from guides that don’t seem to be true

Hello everyone! I hope you’re all okay and safe.

I met someone three months ago, and it’s a man that I’m romantically interested in. We texted a little, however it became clear that he’s a rather shy / emotionally unavailable person, and the relationship doesn’t seem to go anywhere.

I received many signs that convinced me that he’s the one for me, signs that don’t lie as they’re too precise to be coincidences. I also keep hearing / seeing his name everywhere, I have intuitions about him, and I keep coming across things that remind me of him and that are related to him. I just can’t seem to be allowed to forget him. What does it mean? What should I do?

I have heard that sometimes you are drawn to people who cross your path in this life because they were important to you in a previous life. So maybe the signs aren’t for your romantic future, but a sign that they are/were important to you in another way.

Intuition sometimes feels indistinguishable from signs, they’re coming through the same mechanisms. That said, egoic and intrusive intuition-like things also can be sometimes convincingly similar.

Oh I feel you on this, I’ve been through this too. Just as you, I’m still learning. 3 years ago I had feelings for someone that sparked after a dream. That following day my intuitive friend asked if I was into him. I was, and I just suppressed it because I didn’t believe it was in my scope of achieving. Anyways, we were together for 3-4 ish years.. we are currently breaking up. I’m still unpacking what this relationship has offered me lesson wise. I struggled with co dependency, and am now unpacking abandonment issues. I saw signs about him in the beginning too, and I believe I had to stay with him for a few to learn these things. Still learning, but just to let you know others are goin through it too lol

Not that there is doom and gloom in this connection, but maybe there is something to pay attention to in it? Maybe he is slow to open up. I hope this is at least of some help, or perspective!

When reading I am getting no romantic aspect but more friends. Something about keeping your eyes open about this. Like it’s not all that you think it is. The signs are to keep you aware and not jump to conclusions to quickly. Something doesn’t feel right but can’t put my finger on it.

You said yourself that he’s emotionally unavailable. I think that’s your sign right there. Perhaps the lesson is stop pursuing emotionally unavailable people.

You probably have Limerence or undiagnosed Borderline Personality Disorder and met your new favorite person. The signs you see are confirmation biases. Now you notice his name everywhere as a sign the same way when your friend buys a car you start to notice the car everywhere.
