a few months ago ago, i did a spell jar to solidify my karmic into my life, long after he was gone. i realized that after doing it, it backfired and ended up causing a lot more repetitive thoughts on my end of the connection, with still no contact. i realized that this was a mistake and i needed to help myself move on instead, so i tried to undo the spell jar by using uncrossing oil, basil, and a black candle. i purified the jar with sage, basil and salt and broke it, emptied the contents into a stream and did a “thread cutting” before breaking it, not with the intention for it to be a “cord cutting” of souls but to sever the effects of the spell that i had done.
after burning the candles, one that represented me and one that represented him, i noticed they melted in a yin-yang pattern (black and white candles). the thread had been burned on my end but for some reason, the thoughts haven’t ended, even after emptying the contents into the nearby stream. i’ve gotten professional tarot readings during this span of “obsession” i caused for myself and at least 3, one including my own *after* i did the spell that all spelled reconciliation very clearly.
i’m figuring with patience the thoughts will leave because the jar is broken, and it will take a little time to fade- if i did it right. my main concern is what the yin-yang wax pattern means, it seemed a bit concerning.
