Rub a dollar with mint and wrap it around a buckeye for constant flow of money

carry a lucky penny with you (Easily enchanted through meditation or leaving in a box filled with herbs for a week)

Keep birthday/Christmas cards with family members handwriting so if they need a spell done you have their writing as a personal link.

listening to empowering music helps spell craft

carrying a bay leaf in your wallet for wealth.

If you want to add to my list, please add something to the comments! I always love hearing your tips and tricks, it makes me feel so close as a community, so I thought I’d share mine. Have a nice day, and thank you for reading<3

I knot luck into my shoelaces, enchant my kids blankets to be extra cozy and comfortable, carry a small Amethyst in my purse for good travels and a small magnet with a mirror on the backside inside my wallet – one side attracts money, the other doubles it. I also draw a pentacle on the underside of my doormat with chalk to protect the house.

For people who have cats, save any whiskers or claws that they shed, also some fur. Same goes for dog fur and their nails if you clip them yourself. They can be used for protection and health spells for your pets!

Aside from keeping my book of spells and a directory of what works for what. I keep a list of what works to pull me out of a bad place when I’m feeling too down to practice (and other easy things that make me feel connected to my craft when I just don’t).

My favourite charm I have is my fidget rings. I have a wide variety of them, all enchanted differently. So that when I spin them them, they invoke and set me up for what I need from them at that time.

The same way people do food prep for the week. I do bath prep. Small containers filled with everything I need for a corresponding bath (and a small list of fresh ingredients that won’t keep, so I barely have to think about what I need).

Tip from a friend: place whole nutmeg in the corners of a room to inspire occupants to keep it tidy.

I have to be pretty low-key in my practice, so these are some things I do that are either unnoticed or easily explainable.

stir beverages (and soups, stews, etc) counter/clockwise to repel/attract

trace sigils into door frames & window sills with floor wash when cleaning

sprinkle lines of cinnamon in the spaces between window panes and screens (great for protection & deterring ants)

make herb & spice blends and charge w/ intent to have on hand for cooking or brewing (example blends: protection, physical health, mental focus/clarity, tranquility, productivity)

use essential oils to make bug repellents, face mists, or add to unscented lotion

mist my plants with moon water

decorate salt/cinnamon dough ornaments with sigils, they look like pretty doodles

knitting and crocheting w/ intent put into each stitch

I’m Polish and traditionally, you keep a carp fish scale from that year’s Christmas Eve dinner in your purse or wallet to attract money for the coming year. Something for the Slavic witches 😉

Write a petition, in pencil, and plant it under a plant or a seed. As the plant grows, so does the spell. Usually for money, but it could be for anything that you see as growing over time. BB.

The universe is aligning in weird ways right now.

I’m doing research on what I want to add / should add to the money bowl I plan on making here shortly. Your first tip involves a constant flow of money and so do a few comments I’ve read.

    I’m excited haha

    Things to save:

    1. Corks. You can get a lot of cool, interesting, glass bottles for cheap or free because they don’t have lids. People will give them away or sell them for like a buck. Especially save champagne corks.

    2. Any time you’re given flowers, especially roses, dry them to make rose petals. Always ask for flowers (especially roses) when you can get away with it.

    3. Ash. Especially incense ash as many know, to make black salt. But ash is a common ingredient and is often used when growing roses (along with blood from, like, your steaks) to make them grow better.

4.) Branches from Christmas trees, if you have one. Let the pine needles dry on the branches before bottling them up, or keep them in oil. (I haven’t tried water yet. Use them in tinctures for the upcoming year. (Make sure to ask if you got them from a farm if they use chemicals. I get mine from the forest, with a 15 dollar permit.) Use the banches for wreathes, wands, or broomsticks. Fur tree and pine tree wood has some history of magical properties as well.

    5) Badger your friends and family for any seasoning they’ll let you have. Many people accidentally collect multiple bottles over the years.

    6) If there’s an essential oil you use a lot of, get 100% pure and dilute it yourself. It is one of those big costs up front, but saves you a lot in the long run.

7.) Go to Goodwills and goodwill like places to potentially find cheap silver pieces as well as silk. (Mostly ties or scarves.) Most sterling silver is stamped or is tarnished and easy to recognize.

    8. Same things go for candles. You can get them cheap at these places.

    9. Save your broken candles/wax. (Tunneled out, broken wick, etc.) Use a double boiler to melt the wax and then simple candle making techniques to refill a candle jar.

If you have an exam, cleanse and charge the stuff you’ll be using. Also, similar to your penny tip, you can do the same for something random to use as your lucky amulet. You can’t imagine the amount of bad stuff and bad energy on your studying stuff, especially if it’s a subject you have problems with or don’t like.

Sometimes when you buy incense cones they come with a cheap metal disc for if you don’t have a holder. These are great for either enchanting as a talisman or amulet or also for carving sigils or other patterns into, as the metal is very pliable. I keep a collection of shiny, pocket sized trinkets that I can enchant as needed.

When I clean my altar space I use rue water or florida water. They have alcohol in them so it is both physically cleansing and spiritual 🙂

If there’s a piece of jewelry you wear all the time, enchant it! I have a necklace that’s enchanted to protect me against hexes and other negative things. My boyfriend gave it to me like a year and a half ago or something, and I wear it every day.

Buying italian seasoning has an herbal blend full of protection you can get for a dollar or cheaper. You can find more expensive herbs in bulk by using tea bags. The tazo brand has tea with herbs such as lemon grass and targon. It’s an inexpensive way to get herbs.

I always keep the birthday and Christmas cards my grandmother sends me. We can’t visit her really so the cards are the best way to have her around. I also always listen to music as I practice. I always carry the gold coin I use in prosperity spells to help bring prosperity to my life and have made peppermint water to spray around my doors and windows to keep ants out of my house.
