    **TLDR:** I need help with coming up with something to brighten our *(me , my girlfriend, and my friends)* days up because things have been shitty lately.

    So, to begin my close friends *(and girlfriend)* and I have been having a pretty rough time recently just overall really crappy things happen every day no matter how good we wake up or how many good things happen there is always an equally bad or worse thing that happens to even it out, and its getting annoying. I’m usually fine with a few bad days here and there because it happens but this is becoming a daily thing where we can’t go a good few hours without something bad happening to ruin our moods.

    What I’m asking is, does anyone have any tips on to brighten a day up, short or long term works for me. Both my friends are okay with my practice and I would obviously ask their permission before I do anything that affects them. I’ve been working with sigils on the daily to try to resolve these and they do work… to an extent, but I’m looking for something “stronger” in a sense. I don’t work with deities so if we could avoid those I would really appreciate.

    **Just a note:** *I am not in any way asking for peoples personal spells or things from their grimoires, I am only asking for help coming up with something on my own, guidance per-say, unless of course someone does feel they want to share (again no pressure at all). I would never want to come off as pushing someone to share personal spells and techniques.*

    This might sound cliche, but it’s all about your energy. You may not be able to control everything around you but you can control how you react to it. I like to start my day by thinking “it’s a great day to have a great day!” It sets the precedence for everything I’ll encounter and I find myself not letting things get me down. If you start the day thinking it’s going to suck, it will because that’s rhe energy you’re putting out. You could even try a grateful journal
    Write down 3 things you’re grateful for when you wake up, start your day with something positive 🙂

    Buy a plant and keep it beside your bed. Do a spell to plant happiness and/or peace. As the plant grows so will what you planted. The reason I suggest to keep it beside your bed, is because it forces you to care for it everyday. To move it into the sunshine by a window and make sure you are watering and nurturing it.

    If it feels like your funk is on a more personal level, you could try giving your group a cleansing just to knock off some ick that’s probably accumulated.

    Look into laughter yoga. You can essentially do silly exercises where you’re fake laughing and at some point it becomes real laughing. Along the same line, for a ritual or spell i would do something playful.
