    My family stayed in a rental cabin years ago, and one of the books on the shelf was called *That Amazing Ingredient: Mayonnaise!* The recipes contained therein were an offense against God and man.

    Yeah these types of recipes were incredibly common and loved by Americans from all over the country, during the 1945-1970s. My grandma still makes some kinda similar. I can’t stand them.
