Spell to get rid of cockroaches

I am infested by cockroaches and because of my kitties I haven’t been able to find a way to get rid of them. Is there something you guys recommend that is pet safe?

Diatomaceous earth. It’s $2/lb at wal mart, safe for mammals (don’t snort it though) and is like rolling in broken glass for the exoskeletons of insects. (Don’t put it in the garden for that reason.) Put it in an old spice shaker bottle and shake it onto the infested area.

Mint everything. Pour boiling water into all your drains. Make sure they haven’t infested any appliances.

Mint can be poisonous to cats, so if you use any fresh, put it where they won’t have a chance to eat it. If you use extract, it’s good in drawers and tabbed in the back of cupboards.

I used a floor wash/spray that worked well for keeping the bugs down when I lived in a bad area that had them. Be aware that while it is safe for humans, it does have garlic and red pepper in it.
Garlic is also not great for cats in large amounts, but my cats were fine since they didn’t go in that area til it was dry.

You need– 1 gallon jug of water
1 tablespoon of Dawn dish soap
Garlic, either clove or minced, as much as you like (I went with 2 teaspoons of minced)
Red pepper flakes or powder, as much as you like (I used 1 packet from the pizza shop)

Combine these in the gallon jug and let it sit overnight. As a spray, use it anywhere you’ve seen them; as a floor wash it discourages them from wanting to come out. It burns them and they hate the smell, meanwhile your house will smell amazing!
