I have been tattooing for over 10 years now, during day to day life I am heightened in certain areas. But the instant I tattooed a memorial tattoo for someone, I always felt like the work I was doing was made easier, my hand feels lighter. The room feeling, quite often I will feel rather emotional, trying to hide the damp eyes from my clients. Sometimes the message/feeling is stronger than others. I am just reaching out for management help keeping this all in check while my amazing clients are present. I dont feel like I should share these things with them while they are so vunrable, or before hand and worry them and so on… any help or advice would be great. Thanks

Anyone who works on someone else’s body should practice shielding first, even massage therapists do it. You’re working with blood and this person is releasing energy and stress hormones the entire time they are in your chair.

I believe you. Everyone is inherently psychic and can stumble into mediumship for any number of reasons.
What kind of messages do you receive? Do they ever have anything to do with the designs of the tattoos?

I’m wondering if grounding, cleansing, and shielding would help you distance yourself from client’s emotions. It sounds like you might be empathic or maybe just sensing spirits around due to a memorial piece being done. Either way, shielding might help.
