    Question

I recently went to see a medium. I was/am looking for some direction in regards to making a decision and ultimately was hoping to hear from my grandfather.

My experience was both unsettling and at the same time ended up being mostly rewarding. I was nervous but open, I thought ? This man started our session with tarot cards and he was flustered with the first few cards I forget what exactly they were but he seemed to be amazed at what he was putting down. Everything was about positive changes, making new choices and life plans etc and while it did make sense in my life, it was somewhat vague- but I was nodding and agreeing and going with the flow. He seemed generally flustered from the start but then abruptly tried to end our session and asked me to leave, that he couldn’t continue and I was blocking him or something was blocking him. Caught me extremely off guard. He told me not to pay and that he could not continue – was very flustered.

I didn’t know what to say, I was kinda shocked and felt uncomfortable / scared, he was almost angry and was very cold. I started to get up to leave, I said OK, apologized , said I wasn’t trying to block him but he just kept saying he couldn’t continue. He then asked me what I needed out of this or what I was truly looking for so I said well I was hoping to hear from my grandpa and for his direction in what to do with some information I have that belongs to him.

He sat back down and proceeded with our session. My grandpa , grandma, mother in law, and an old friend ‘came through’. The things we talked about and he told me were real and most everything made sense to me . However he seemed very anxious and flustered most of the reading , he kept saying there was a lot going on and would stop mid sentence and ask me a question, look towards the other part or the room and ask me something else and kept throwing his pen down and his hands in the air and we were all over the place really . I felt that I basically got the answer I was looking for during the reading and once it was over he got very cold again and said he was done and asked me to leave . He refused to accept any payment from me and it was not a warm good bye.

I sat in my car forever trying to process what happened and 3 days later I’m still not sure. We must have spent about 40 min together he turned his timer off twice. Again he refused any payment. I ran out of there and to my car very quickly.

Does anyone have any thoughts they would like to share on why he may have acted this way? I still have this unsettled feeling and not sure if it was me or what really happened.

    Thx for reading. Questions welcome

That does sound strange? I don’t really think it had anything to do with you? He might be on psychic burnout as they say? Sometimes when you do so many readings in a row it can affect your energy and make you feel really drained and empty after? Like Edgar Cayce was only able to do three trance readings a week, otherwise it affected him negatively? If the medium is on fb I would try and look up his reviews etc…and see if other people have had the same problem?

If that medium turned off a timer, he had your interests foremost in his mind. Try to distract yourself for a few days. (I know it is difficult) Allow the reading to settle.

Ultimately, use your own best judgement about your grandfather’s information. Would it harm someone if it were known?

I always go by “First. Do not harm”. It is not easy. It is a good guide. The dead have secrets. some are really explosive. We have stumbled across information on my grandfather. So much whoa. Years ago, it could have caused harm. Now, it is just interesting and mind blowing. Only the few of us who know need to be aware of it. After all, it is your grandfather’s business. I feel strongly you would harm someone with this information. sharing because you know, is much less important than choosing to keep it quiet to protect others and to protect his memory as well.
