I’ve heard that it’s bad luck to purchase a deck for yourself. Cab anyone confirm?

I’ve been using the golden tarot for years, but it feels so heady and ceremonial that I feel weird using it every day. I’ve been wanting the wild unknown tarot.

Buy yourself whatever deck you want. I own multiple and they often feel right at different times. If you’re super worried though, do a deck swap with a friend and each of you buy the other the deck they want.

It’s a superstition. Tarot is all about doing what you want. I bought several decks myself. But for the first time, I bought the reprinted version to check whether the sigil and imagery fit me or not (as most tarot decks are expensive and I don’t want to waste anything).

If it fits you already and you feel connected to it, buy the original. Also, I do think that some decks have different energies. For now, I have 12+ decks and the energy differs from each other (some are light, some aren’t).
