Hello everyone. Over the course of 2020, I started to reignite my belief in astrology, and really started delving deep into it at the beginning of this year.

That said, I came across some interesting questions in my viewpoint with further understanding astro, the primary one being:

How much do you think genes interact with our astrology? Is anyone even talking about this?

The reason I ask is this. As well all know, astrology is an extremely complex belief system that has been watered down to a Reader’s Digest level of simplicity. But with the understanding of the complexity, there’s still some interesting things that I’ve seen. For instance, there’s a dude that I recently followed on Twitter, who has the same birthday of the same year as me. And yet, we have somewhat different personalities (at least from what I gather). I know that the difference in rising signs can play a role in this, yes. But with that in mind I also often wonder, how much do you all think that genes can impact our personalities in tandem with our charts?

    TL;DR – See title

I really don’t think genetics interact with astrology and that’s why even if you had a 99% exact chart as someone else you wouldn’t be 100% equal

I read somewhere I don’t remember which author was quoted who said that for example, if a mother has a certain type of pregnancy because of certain aspects that’s what makes the child born at a certain time of the day, it is well known scientifically that the mother physical and mental state during pregnancy and first months of life have an impact on personalities

Usually I read that with my moon house my mother had to make an urgency travel abroad, and in fact that’s when she found out she was pregnant

So I do believe that somehow the aspects during a pregnancy may affect on the time you are born
But genetics are genetics no matter what natal chart you were born with IMO

Say you have diabetes. In the world of physical causes and determinism, the cause is in your genes and environment. Planets are not the cause. But you look at your natal chart and the positions indicate that you’ll get diabetes. We can only throw around the word synchronicity because it can’t be understood with rational thought.

Your astrological predispositions will only manifest as far as your genetics allow. For example, Leos stereotypically have thick hair, but if your parents’ hair is super thin, your hair may be thicker than theirs but not as thick as would be expected of a Leo.
