The magickcal space for scrying

Benjanmin Rowe has written a book "a short course in scrying "

And the magickcal space he suggested to build for scrying is fun to do. I v been building such a place even before I read the book,but never found it useful to get answers for any practical life items.

May I ask why could this place offer a scrying answer?
Has anyone tried is method?
