Interesting interpretation, even though I would place sings a bit differently, but I haven’t thought that throughout. But I like to view earth signs as pragmatic center leaning.
My observation on modern history leaders is that “many” right wing leaders have been air signs: Thatcher (Libra), Reagan (Aquarius), Trump (Gemini), Putin (Libra) even though it’s often assumed that earth signs are the conservatives = right wing. But conservatism and right wing are not the same thing. It’s true that earth signs are conservatives in a sense they value stability and security etc.
Fire signs like Sagittarius feels like the ones to be revolutionaries and ideological.
Water signs are naturally into politics that improve human rights and social issues.

I’ve never knowingly met a Libra that was libertarian right.
Personally I’ve been authoritarian left since 2016

My Taurus sun is definitely a lot closer to where my actual political views are than where my Virgo moon and rising are 😂 I am a libertarian left
