    Hi everyone, I’m still very new to tarot but I’ve had this horrible feeling in the pit of my stomach all evening that something bad is going to happen or has happened already.

    I took some time to sit and really think on it and decided to set an intention to see what it was I was missing and for some guidance. The first card I pulled was the tower and it gave me the chills seeing that and basically affirming what I’ve been feeling tonight, even though I’m still unsure of what it is or what it will be.
    Has anyone else has any kind of similar experience or have any insight?

    Tarot can play off ur energy ! If ur feeling anxious , sad, angry it’s recommended to not read for yourself because the reading may come out compromised:) try doing another spread in the morning with a fresh mind

    Sometimes when I draw cards without a question they will literally just mirror back to me what I’m feeling or thinking or what’s going on. Try forming a question or drawing more than just one card.

    Let me start by saying The Tower is not all bad. It’s neutral. Some tower events will actually be good. I’ve gotten The Tower for sudden and unexpected bad news but also sudden and unexpected messages from someone I really wanted to hear from that I hadn’t talked to in a while and it was good. It just means some expected event that shakes things up.

    Second, you asked for guidance and pulled The Tower. This isn’t saying something awful will happen, it’s reflecting your feelings. Its literally saying you feel like something awful is going to suddenly happen. I would suggest taking a few breaths, meditate, and ask about why you feel this way, what situation is causing it, what energies currently surround that situation, what you can do to feel more calm, etc

    Draw up a spread and see what pops up 🙂
