Seems self evident, but I feel that kitchen Magick is primal. The act of preparing food, transformation from dead animals and single ingredients into a wholesome creation that brings joy and life to those around you is an incredible thing.

It connects me to my lost loved ones, it perfumes my home with the incenses of poultry and bread as fine as any temple.

It’s Magick that’s human on a level that is unique. It doesn’t draw from the heavens, it’s from the heart and hands, the Will made manifest in a concert with the body: Hearing the sizzle, tasting the batter, kneading the dough, watching the rise and change.
It’s a humble yet profound thing that gets overlooked because it’s so prevalent (and largely ignored because women do most of it).
