    SO:

TLDR; idk basically so you believe the same? That of spirits/ghosts/souls/people have more of a mission and purpose with you, they won’t go away? I forget to mention in my rambles that my understanding is that once you cross over you can come back and forth as you please. I believe my cat Charlotte does that.

Sorry I lost my train of thought in the text below but hey

In the show Kindred Spirits they talk about how their beliefs are that not all spirits want to be crossed over.

But then I think about the fact that our personal reality reflects our spiritual until we get into a true place of no judgement, and that an on going maintenance for ourselves.

But anyways, I have a cat that I’ve tried to cross over, but because, I believe, I still have her paw prints she still shows up. Same with one of our dogs who used to try to get into the cabinets. Didn’t happen often but a couple times I believe he tried to get on them and I don’t think we acknowledged him enough so he gave up.

I have a spirit of an ex that sticks around of I stay on certain habits we had together even though I have (half assed) tried to cross him over.

Same with a friend of mine we shared had habits with.

Animal spirits do not generally cross in the same way people do. Rarely do they need help crossing unless they died traumatically. Pet’s specifically tend to come and go more easily than people do.

In general, most people (from various religions) believe there needs to be a boundary between the dead and the living. It’s not healthy for the living to be around the dead too much. That said, in some traditions the way the dead move on is different than how people conceptualize it in Christianity. So I think it’s important to mind one’s personal biases and not project it onto everyone else.
