Virgo Moon overrides sunsign?

It’s something I read once and it stuck with me somehow. Is that true? Having the moon in Virgo myself I should know, but then I’m a Virgo rising as well, so that’s double Virgo already.

There’s certainly not much left of that Leo Sun.

One of my sisters is a Virgo Moon but her Gemini Sun is more powerful than her moon. She is not organized or neat like stereotypical Virgo placements and is pretty spontaneous.

My husband is a Cap sun, Virgo moon. The only Virgo traits he exhibits are digestive issues. For everything else, he’s a definite Cap. Funnily enough, my mum is a Virgo rising and she’s a lot more Virgo than he is, keeping her house and appearance spotless and being extremely judgemental (in a nice way if that’s possible?). So in short, not sure the moon sign can really overpower the sun sign unless your sun is in detriment.

I’m Virgo moon Pisces sun Leo rising. I agree my Virgo moon rules my life and everything I do but now I don’t mind or intentionally ignore it bc it’s a very intuitive placement.

My boyfriend is Taurus sun Virgo moon. I’d say he acts and very much is like a Taurus although his Virgo moon is definitely extremely present as well. He acts really chill like a Taurus but after getting to know him better I realized he’s not that “chill” in some aspects lmao. He’s very very self critical and gets a lot of tummy aches from all his secret worrying. He’s awesome though and I wish he wouldn’t see himself so negatively but yeah, his Virgo moon is definitely strong.

from what i’ve read, time of day (sect) often plays a part when one doesn’t fully feel their sun sign. so if you were born at night/after the sun has set, you may feel your moon sign or rising sign more.

i fall into this category too. i’m a leo sun (born at night) and relate much more to both my moon and rising.

also a heavily aspected sun may dull how it shines.

Husband and I are both water suns (cancer and Pisces) with Virgo moons. Our moon rules our careers and professional life for sure. I feel like we are both just sensitive virgos really.

As a leo sun virgo moon I get this but it’s more of like a tug of war between the two like I want to socialize but then again not so much and that’s a daily struggle between wanting to be niave and over analyzing everything.

Is your sun in the 12th house? That could be why you feel that part of you may be a bit hidden beneath the surface especially if your moon is in the 1st house

my mom is a libra sun and virgo moon and i can say that for her!! you’re right! however your sun is in its home in leo so THEORETICALLY that should have a strong influence on you as well….
