Was this a spirit guide or ? I can’t get a feeling on it ..

I dreamt that someone ( spirit guide) I. Guessing was standing in my room holding my puppy it was like he was just suspended .. when I woke I was taken back like wtf then I realised .. I tried to talk to it but my words couldn’t come out .. like muffled , my mouth wouldn’t work .. eventually it got clearer but still not my full voice.

It sounds like you might have had a sleep paralysis. At that stage, it’s easy to see things, either real or not (I can’t tell you how real was what you saw). My sleep paralysis are more likely to lead to monsters staring from outside my window.
