Since moving to a new house, I’ve had 2 attempts at connecting with deceased and helping people (for free) on Reddit specifically. These individuals reached out to me directly. Both times I had water damage in my house within 24 hours of connecting. First connection was to individual whose passing was related to water and second was related to respiratory depression. Both couldn’t be explained by experts and were considered “1-off freak accidents”. I also had water damage at my last place – freak floods and pipe bursts. Not sure those were related to connecting or not. Hadn’t found my intuition and gift fully at that point. Any thoughts on coincidences- or better yet, any suggestions for preventing this and protecting from elemental damage upon connecting? Any guidance appreciated! ❤️

Could your patron spirits be water-based?

The only thing I can think of is setting a specific intention for that protection. because it seems like when you connect you connect to an abundance of energy that physically manifests. Or that’s what it seems like to me.
Also try to focus too maybe on the energy and concentrating it and not letting it go where it pleases. Does that make sense? That’s just my take.

After the funeral of my gran, we had a roof leak. Wondered the same things. If they can use water to communicate.

To me this sounds like your channelling just fine but grounding & closing your connection at the end is where you need to focus your energy.
Making sure all connections are returned to their proper homes.
I would think that your higher self is an element water. Ask your guides to help you to release this extra energy in a more appropriate manner. As well as learning to return your energy during meditation, and connection back to the earth or its right spot. Close each session after you feel your energies are fully grounded in a special way you see fit. Like a chant, special talisman, smoke, special words ect.
