Stressful aspects (such as squares or oppositions) to the Sun from other planets could indicate a struggle to truly understand oneself or difficulties integrating various aspects of one’s personality. It might manifest as a lack of self-awareness or an internal conflict that hinders personal growth.
Weak placements of the Ascendant: The Ascendant, or rising sign, represents our outward demeanor and initial approach to the world. If the Ascendant is in a weakened position or afflicted by challenging aspects, it could suggest a tendency to be disconnected from one’s true self or a struggle to project an authentic image to others.
Lack of self-reflective aspects: Some astrological aspects promote self-reflection and introspection, fostering a deeper understanding of oneself. For example, harmonious aspects between personal planets (such as the Sun, Moon, and Mercury) and outer planets (such as Jupiter or Saturn) can indicate a greater capacity for self-awareness and personal growth. On the other hand, a lack of such aspects may suggest a lesser inclination or opportunity for introspection.
• Afflictions to the Moon: The Moon represents our emotions and unconscious mind. Challenging aspects to the Moon, such as squares or oppositions, could indicate emotional struggles or a lack of awareness of one’s underlying emotional patterns. This may result in difficulties understanding one’s emotional needs or reactions.
Heavy emphasis on certain signs or elements: If an individual’s birth chart shows a strong dominance of a particular sign or element (e.g., multiple planets in the same sign or element), it could suggest a narrow focus or a limited perspective on oneself and the world. This concentration may result in a reduced awareness of other aspects of their personality or potential blind spots.

GuestAugust 24, 2023 at 8:35 pmChallenges to inner planets like mars jupiter or the sun can cause self esteem issues running into situations head first not thinking compulsive speaking ego issues where everything is personal and pessimism…
Inner planets make our early personality but because they travel fast as a person we should be able to spot these mistakes/obstacles and change them.
People with their outer planets in upper houses have harder times changing their personality because it takes other ppl looking at you for you to notice it at all.
For example I have venus in 10th house I didn’t know I was attractive until I was almost mid 20s…💙💙💙🍑🍑🍑✨✨ -

Afflicted planets in Fire signs (blinded by egocentricism) , Earth (over preoccupied w material)
Air signs tend to be more socially engaged, Water signs are empathically plugged in.
Sun afflicted, as someone pointed out
Too much Scorpio/8th — Obsessive with 1 thing, tuned out socially
Neptune – personal planets/angles – Seeing illusions and vagueness
I find a lack of self awareness kind of instrinsic to any hard aspect, because they are distortions. There are different kinds of self awarenesses.
