Feeling like I need some witchy things in my life right now (and always).

Any rituals you do, “potions” you use… whatever you’ve got

Silly things, things you take seriously, things you believe in… give it to me!

Say good morning to the universe daily.

I sit on my swing in morning silence whilst I drink my first cuppa tea and greet the day. No hustle or bustle, no phone, no distractions…just Be with all that is.

I weave my intentions into the crafts I make, even if it’s as simple as “this scarf will be really warm.”

Daily tarot and a good morning to the altar gang. Sigils on the window and door to protect me and mine, and i cleanse the windows about 1x month. I try to be gentle to whatever is in my home – spiders, flies, etc – and I always save earthworms on the sidewalk. I do small daily acts of activism and environmental work, and consider those extensions of my practice.

Freyja is my primary goddess and she’s about as witchy as it gets. If I wasn’t so beat down by mental illness of late I’d put more effort into ritualized stuff. It’s just hard when you’re in survival mode all the time.

Maybe not witchy, possibly more pagany. I leave out treats for the various folk. It’s something i learned very young and it’s an ingrained habit at this point. It’s on the level of checking door locks at night. It may not do anything, but no sense in risking an angry brownie or puca

Daily habits: personal Tarot readings, offerings to my gods, personal cleansings, prayer beads & meditation

Monthly: Full moon ritual, recharge talismans, do at least one ‘major’ spell-working (my favorite so far is a negativity ward)

Solstices, equinoxes, midpoints between, as well as days set aside for each of my deities: major festival rituals

I view witchcraft as a spiritual practice that is part of my religion (though not exclusively so, there are other religions, like Wicca, that also use witchcraft).

I have young kids so seriously I *never* have any time to myself—not even when I shower or go to the bathroom. Sometimes my daughter sneaks into my bed multiple times a night so often I don’t even have a break in my own bed.

BUT some things I’ve tried to incorporate is sigil writing. I’ll take my oldest to the park or a play cafe and I’ll draw some sigils. It does take a lot of energy to keep focused while children are hollering and crying around you lmao, but it’s better then not doing it. It’s something I really enjoy.

Recently I bought the book *Siddhartha* and it surprised me how much my pisces-rising, scorpio-moon daughter loves it. The words make no sense to her, but she finds it really calming for me to read it to her. So that’s been nice.

Every once in awhile I’ll do tarot in public if it feels safe, but so far it hasn’t felt right. I’d rather do it at home—but its hard to find quiet at home.

So for right now, a lot of my energy is focused on raising strong girls, which is a magic in itself. Putting love into hot meals, spending a lot of time thinking about their needs, making sure their home is base level clean. Making sure they have a connection to the earth.

I believe that areas of land have their own spirit, so I regularly offer love to the land that sustains me in the form of (biodegradable) gifts.

I used to have ritual baths before my childbirth. Hope to return to it soon. Used oils, candles, crystals (want to go out and find my owns) and music to relax. Sometimes drinking a glass of wine, or hotchocolate, or cafe there.
I use time to time candle magic: it helped me with money and health. I want to create one to help with removing someone from our life in the future, and I want to make magical bones and headpieces in the future. But first I need to find a place to collect bones in my country (like antlers, skulls etc.).

I love using ritual body oils. Right now I’m using one with orchid, which is supposed to be good for personal power. The smell of it immediately zaps me into a witchy mood.

I try to actively seek appreciation no matter how small – could be a welldressed stranger, a cup of tea or a tiny flower growing out of a sidewalk.
I offer gratitude for the chance to encounter such things.

    Summer face salve:

    Aloe gel

    Drop of tea tree oil

    Drop of rosemary

Drop of (or 1 broken capsule of) Vitamin e

Banishes zits and welcomes soft skin of the face.
    Not for ingestion.

Whenever any of my friends are over, I invite them to help me make ointments using flowers and herbs in my backyard. It’s a great icebreaker (and the potions work!)
