I know I can generally cast any type of spell any time I want, but I like using the moon phases. I just can’t find anything on the waning moon! I know waxing is for manifestation, and full is for most types of spells (New to lunar magic, so I don’t know everything), and new is for shadow work, manifestation, and new beginnings. What am I supposed to do during the waning moon phase? And are the half moons important? Thank you, please let me know if you have the answer.

I suffer from depression and anxiety so during the waning moon I perform spells and rituals to banish negative thoughts and negative energy.

waning is good for protection-having things move away or stay away from you, letting things fade away etc. very timely in regards to world affairs.

all the moons are important and co-equal, just that two of them are very… noriceable

The waning moon is all about letting go of things that no longer serve you. As the moonlight disintegrates, you can use this time to spiritually cleanse yourself or your space. You can perform banishments during the waning moon or release attachments to something. A waning moon is excellent for clearing house and getting rid of shit you don’t want anymore!

The best explanation I have is to use what it means in gardening. Prune to discourage growth, and plant below ground crops from full to last quarter. Till for planting, but don’t plant yet, weed, and burn brush pile, last quarter to new. Think about those aspects, and then apply them to your workings. BB.
