I saw somewhere that there is a connection. Is that a thing?

if the 12th has any planets in it, it can definitely be found more significant than if it doesn’t since there is energy concentrated there. I have Pluto in the 12th, and my mother was on the verge of dying when in labor with me. I was halfway out, but halfway stuck. Therefore we both could have not made it. I find it super interesting!

Hmm.. my 12H is in Sag. My mom had zero freedom when she was pregnant. The sperm guy she lived with was a Sag tho, he took all of her freedom. Idk then🤷‍♀️ I have Pluto conjunct 12H, I guess her pregnancy had a very Pluto effect on her life…

EDIT: Also I was breech & had the umbilical cord tangled around my neck at the end, they scheduled a c-section for 2 days later & I didn’t cry when they got me out (I WAS breathing! But, just wanted to be quiet lmao). OH ALSO my grandma was her L&D nurse! She got to deliver me

I have scorpio in the 12th house (and significant 12th house/scorpio placements)! I read once I have a transit in my chart that signifies a heavy relationship with my mom, and that she might want to like.. “eat” her kids. It was weird and confirmed some fears, anyway, I figured it was significant!

I’m a twin, we were born if (I guess correctly) ~3 months early, a c section that was traumatic for my mom for a few reasons, and my brother was born dead and blue, but he was resuscitated! Which was wild. She wasn’t allowed to see us afterwards, which was one of the most stressed parts of our birth story. She only got to press her cheek to mine briefly, I was born first, 2 min before my brother screaming and pissed, which made her proud, and kind of horrified her with the difference with my brother’s birth. They ended up having to restrain her, and she never got over it. Sorry if this is long winded, she’s a leo and I don’t know my excuse! I wanted to look into the red strings I see in all over my birth chart and the relationship between myself, my brother, and my mom, for a long time lol.

Yes, I’ve seen it proven too many times, also if you are looking at your chart like it’s a timeline, it makes sense as your AC is the moment you are born.

Jupiter in leo in the 12 house. She had an easy birth with me, other than the fact that a nurse found that I wasn’t breathing once she [the nurse] was out of the room. They had to resuscitate me. Other than that, no complications.

Cancer in Mars and I came out the womb a huge 12 pounds. Holy smokes. Got an eating disorder now though, AND I’m a chef.

12th house in Aries, I wasn’t supposed to make it. The Dr. tried to convince my parents to let me go. But they fought for me, and so I’m here

I have 4 placements in 12H Aries. The only complaint my mom has ever said about my birth is that she wanted to take a shit during it. On the other hand, my dad said I came out purple at first until I took a breath. So I can only assume there might have been a 1-2 second scare and that was it.

Oh.. my 12th house in Aries. My dad wasn’t there for her while she was in labor with me. She never forgave him for going through childbirth alone.

Wow I never realized there was a connection like that but it all makes sense now.

    Lots of interesting comments here!

I have Aries 12th, with aries sun and taurus mercury. From what my mom has told me, she had a decent pregnancy with just minor morning sickness at most. She did take some native herbal supplements to supposedly have an easy labor and a “high IQ” baby. haha I was 2 weeks early (woulda been a Taurus instead of Aries!) and was in labor for only about 30 min, from what she said. She always says that the nurse was telling her “DON’T push” 😬 I also have chiron conjunct my AC 0 deg, and I read that could mean trauma at birth, I wonder if my mom trying to not push was related to that?? I dunno.

    ps- For anyone interested there’s r/12thhouse !

Just speaking anecdotally: my 12H is in Leo, ruled by the Sun. My Sun is exiled in Aquarius, in the 6H, conjunct the South Node and opposite the North Node in Leo. I have the ruler of the 6H (Saturn) in Aries in the 8H.

I was my mom’s second kid, ten years after the first. She had preeclampsia most of the pregnancy (6H = illness) and eventually she was induced by her doctor’s recommendation. Otherwise, were I carried to term, she likely would’ve died (me as well). So, I popped out 28 days early, which to me definitely has Aries energy (quick initiating, needing to burst through) and Saturn themes of death, in the 8H topics of sudden surgeries (medical astrology).

I also was born *bright* orange (severe jaundice) and had a vitamin D deficiency for the first few months (exiled Sun?).

And is there a connection with how you will die? Can this be seen in any point of the chart?

Sag and Cap in 12th in my chart. No planets there. She had a typical pregnancy with the usual morning sickness etc, but eventually became so… round she was unable to do her physical job. She gained almost 80lbs during gestation which is definitely more than recommended.

I was breech and would not turn and therefore I became an emergency c section baby. Found my dad’s notebook years later in which he detailed the day I was born, stating I had trouble breathing at birth and how he would rub my back to keep me moving and awake. I turned out fine, but without intervention at the proper time I wouldn’t have.

Jupiter is in the 2nd house of money (her leaving her job) and Saturn in 3rd ruling lungs. (My 6th house cusp is also Gemini, hmm.)

3rd born. My dad begged to have another baby for a year until my mom said yes. Mercury in Leo 12th and my Sun in Leo is on the cusp. My mom slipped on water and did the splits. I was born later that day 2 1/2 months early weight 2 1/2 lbs, had to spend over a month in NICU
