I’ve been reading forty years or so now, and I’ve always had an uncontrollable kind of ability to tell from a photo of someone is living or not, and their manner of death. It’s not 100%, but it’s common enough that I need to pay attention.
This is a bizarre question, I know, but those of you who have this gift or a stronger version, my question is this: do you see the same thing everyone else does when they look at the photo, and you channel the person. Or, do you see something drastically different?

What do you actually see when viewing photographs of individuals etc.?

I don’t have this particular gift, but I can feel what someone was like in life—but not in death. So, if I see a picture of someone who is dead, I can for the most part describe how they were in life but have no clue how they are doing in death.

I can usually see what they were/are like and possibly some of their important memories as well, but I can’t usually tell if they’re dead without having a personal connection to them. Occasionally I can but it’s not a skill I practice much.
I just “see through” all the people I meet, even if it’s just a photo. It’s a handy skill.

I am pretty much the same as you, I can tell if they are alive or dead, and I can start doing a reading, i was able to find a guy that went missing after the police called off the search, just by looking at his pic on fb and I started seeing visions, and they found his body about a half an hour after, I talked to the detectives, I can’t do that with every picture reading, but that one was memorable.

Their eyes look distant or far away in photos.
