Or any other zodiac sign? I know that traditionally The High Priestess is solely linked to the Moon and not to a specific zodiac sign but since I’m designing my tarot deck with a detailed correspondence system, i’d like to get the most accurate or at least a general consensus on these aspects.
I truly think that The High Priestess has more of a Virgo vibe or it could also be a Cancer card since it is very watery, but as for Pisces, I’m not so sure… what do you think? Is there any other zodiac sign that you link the HP to? Let me know and elaborate, thanks!

Cancer is ruled by the moon. There may be value in “keeping it in the family.”
On a tangent: I have to deeply respect anyone who sees that things could be different then puts in this kind of work on their own project. Good luck again.

Honestly I don’t see the High Priestess as a water sign at all. If the card has to be associated with one of the Zodiac signs I would go with an air sign. I know that the card is typically associate with water, but based off the cards meaning, it’s always felt more air to me. Secrets, hidden truths, a deep profound understanding and connection to one’s own intuition- I mean, come on, that’s **big** Aquarius energy. Plus, the name “water barer” would be a nice nod to the card’s traditional association with water.

Well, why do you feel Virgo fits? That’s an earth sign. The Empress is more earthy than the High Priestess. The High Priestess is intuition, thoughts, the gatekeeper between the conscious and unconscious thoughts. But she is also rooted in feelings. To me she would be better represented by an Air Sign or Water. Cancer makes sense because it’s ruled by the moon. However, since the major arcana zodiac associations start at the emperor with Aires it feels weird to shove Cancer in at the beginning and also have it on the Chariot card. I don’t know.
Why do you feel it HAS to have a zodiac association?

Any water sign. Probably Aquarius, but Cancer works too
