What happens after death to the people who commits suicide?

Are these practises have some connection with a particular religion? Like the eastern religions(hinduism or buddhism) or something?

From where I grew up, it is believed that people who commit suicide will stay in this suicide loop where they continue to go through the process of suicide until their “time is up.” I am not certain if its true!

My brother committed suicide and he’s come through several times during medium readings and he’s doing just fine. When he first crossed over he was disappointed because death didn’t resolve what he thought it would. He was full of anxiety when he first died and took some time to cross over because he was afraid of what would happen but at some point did cross over and find healing. He was met with love and peace and was assisted in healing his soul wounds which took time and he continues to progress. When he comes through he’s often accompanied by my grandparents. No torture, no hell, just help where it’s needed, peace and love. I assume it’s that way for others who pass the same way. It’s important to understand you are the same person on the other side as you are here. Death doesn’t fix a lot of things inside, it just changes the way you’ll have to fix them. You do have opportunities to fix them though.

All I know is they’re still here helping us. I’ve lost 2 best friends to suicide. One not too long ago. He has saved my life 3x now from dangerous events. He woke up me up twice from falling asleep at the wheel too. He had such urgency in his voice. I hear his voice clearly and see him, but he has only shown up in acute situations to protect me. I dreamt of him earlier this year. I was very depressed and felt like God abandoned me. He hugged me and told me not to give up. The next day I realized that was the anniversary of his passing. So I heard that message loud and clear.

I can only answer for one case, but I used to live in a house where someone committed suicide. I know he still lingered in the house. He started out somewhat hostile, but we grew to be friends. I had to move so I don’t know what happened after that. I miss him sometimes.

A trusted medium I follow sees auras. She can still see auras in photos even after the person has passed. She describes their auras as having a haze or kind of fog over them. And from her communication with the other side, she said the pain doesn’t go away. But she’s also mentioned some souls that do lightwork in their afterlife, like a “job”. I really hope there’s a position that’s helping these hurting souls heal.

Every soul has a choice that they can incarnate again or not and help humanity in the other realms. Because everyone has freewill.

This won’t be popular but here is my theory:
I have a tough time with any Soul that has exited by suicide “having to return” and “work through” specific lessons. In my NDE (and when my Soul Guide appeared to me in physical form 32 years ago) I saw that Souls are not required to “do” or “not do”. Each incarnation is just a experience to see what it is like in physical form. This gives the Soul self awareness which is growth. That’s it! Simply by having an incarnation of ANY kind. Long or short. I saw many Earth Bound souls have been manipulated into believing they have to keep coming back here on the reincarnation merry go round. It is not required in any way. Souls are truly autonomous and always will be. Through experience they will come to that conclusion and reject any direction to return and “try again”. Or give in to any form of manipulation once an incarnation is completed. I was shown that suicide is just another “exit point”. It is the human ego that sees it as negative. Other advanced civilizations see it as just another way to exit an incarnation when the Soul is ready. (we are making advances Spiritually with the Right to Die laws that are becoming legal all around the world)
Our Free Will is our greatest Super Power as a Soul. Once an incarnation is exited we do not need to surrender that Free Will to any other being by following their manipulation to incarnate again.
Returning to Source and deciding from there is the key…from what I was shown.

My dad committed suicide 10 years ago. A medium told us that he was still on this earth haunting us super attached to my mom in a bad way. She said that God didn’t take him, he stayed and suffered on earth for 10 years until recently she helped us and crossed him over. She said she had to argue with him because he didn’t want to go. A lot of these comments said the pain doesn’t end and it’s true. It only brought more pain or at least a different type of pain. I can’t stop thinking about how he probably pulled the trigger and immediately regretted it. He suffered so much watching us (his family wife and kids) suffer. I know he didn’t Rest In Peace right away. She said he’s full of regret and hates himself for it. Maybe that’s not all suicides, everyone’s story on earth was different and not everyone did the things my dad did. But yes, the pain doesn’t stop and they don’t just Rest In Peace. She saw him and said he looked so haunted- his eyes looked so gone depressed destroyed, so much pain. This was so hard to find out and hear from the medium but honestly it’s helped me so much when I get suicidal.

So many stupid answers on such tragic difficult question. Do not answer on this question if you have nothing meaningful to contribute.
We do not know exactly what happens, every person has its own theories as also different perceptions of this difficult topic. Some say you repeat the same lessons in the next life, basically you have the same life in order to grow in your karmic lessons.
I was reading in a book from Newton, that souls with lots of suffering go in some kind of place, where they try to nurture and heal the soul as much as possible.
Edit: Some of you are accusing me of my ignorant comment. One of the first comments were that their souls go to hell etc, I was referring to this kind of comments.
