He was the first to lie about not being able to see her because of work. Had he just been honest that he’d rather spend the evening with his coworker, she wouldn’t have constructed this bs story in her head which stemmed from classic Scorpio jealousy and paranoia about your SO cheating.
And he’s been kind of a coward, so Taurus, Virgo or Pisces would be my guesses.
