What is your experience with neptune crossing the ascendant??

Wow. When Neptune crossed my ascendant I was around 11 years old. I guess it involved a lot of figuring out who I was, that whole awkward transition phase. I feel like I didn’t really become more sure of my sense of self until I was 13 or 14ish, so I guess that seems about right.
Went to my first funeral (my grandmother), was getting over some trauma around being bullied/being a general outcast at school, and my parents had just got divorced so I was going back and forth between them.

Natal neptune on the ascendant here!
I’m working on figuring it out. I feel like Neptune makes you feel like it’s really important to connect with humanity on a large scale. I think all my pushed ads on social media these days are fid nonprofits cause they know I’m a sucker. I stood around in the dairy aisle at a grocery store looking for a palm-oil-less vegetarian butter substitute, for like 10 minutes. I really care about people, I get in trouble at work for bring too chatty with customers & getting distracted. I think it makes you idealistic, and spiritual and sorta artistic maybe? Anyway, that’s what it is natally. Idk when I would have had it transit.

1st lord in 12th house here, rather or more simply put, I have Neptune on the ascendant. Can be easily distracted, spiritual, into drugs and escapism, artistic. Music comes naturally to me, like playing an instrument or singing. People can’t read me easily.

I have Aqua rising with Pisces intercepted in the 1st house so I haven’t ever lived without this looming Neptunian guise over who I am. It only lessens slightly in Pisces but it’s still there. In a way I like it. It’s allowed me to be who ever I want to be. I have many fantasy versions of myself. I am constantly reimagining who I will be. I always felt depressed whenever I was expected to be one way or another.
Of course in the beginning it wasn’t easy. My adolescence was me being swayed every which way by who others want me to be. I felt faceless and like a pawn for others. The pressures of others’ expectations and needs was something I had to learn to not shape myself around. This transit definitely taught me to be an observer of people. I had to learn how to protect myself emotionally.

I was obsessed with how much influence and subtle power I had over others. People really saw what they wanted in me. Which made it easier to kind of let my guard down and be entirely myself. No one would notice anyway.
I also realized that it was easier to find love as people were more romantic towards me and even acted more softly towards me.
I did begin to suffer from addiction/addictive tendencies however. But I was also in a place where I was very connected to my spirituality.
For clarification, Neptune hasn’t exactly transistors my 1st yet. I experienced Neptune in the 1st in one of my solar return charts a few years ago.
