What qualities should a professional medium possess?

Depends on the medium and how they personally operate, but my standards say
Authenticity – conveying messages whether they understand them or not. Not being afraid of being wrong or perceived badly by the client.
Objective – Handling complex and complicated matters with dignity, compassion, and respect. Never judging the client for their life choices or situations.
Honesty- If for some reason you’re not able to connect well, just saying so vs trying to create a false reading.
Blank slated- (this is where things might vary by medium) I personally do not want pictures or information about the client or any person they wish to contact. The less I know the better to ensure my client knows I am truly channeling and not guessing or cold reading.
Lastly , Gentleness – our clients are often grieving or lost in life. To approach all readings with kindness and compassion and the intention to help.

Accept that they can be wrong.
Know that they are not always right or want to be right.
