Hello all, I would really like a view on this. And would be supergratefull if anyone has some more information for me!

I have noticed in the last couple of years that I tend to smell pretty strong smells that remind me of people I know/had contact with. And I get the feeling something is up in regards to me (but that could be me interpreting it wrong!). It has been even bigger the last couple of months or so.

Now lately the smell can be different. So it has this basic perfume smell but underneath it feels/smells sweaty. Indicating to me something is not good anymore, as before it was more clear/potent.

I’m just wondering. Is this possible? Is it further developing itself/am I understanding it better? I don’t really do a lot actively with it (this is the first time I really ask for this somewhere) so is there a way to better understand it/work with it?

Thanks for any help in advance!

Do you ever smell things to the point where they become intrusive, disgusting or distressing? Are the smells sometimes very intense/unpleasant? Burnt rubber? Burnt hair?

“My Spiritual BFF” podcast on Spotify has an episode on clairgustance and Clairalience (since they coincide so closely with each other) she talks about ways to develop it further and she talks about what reactions they have on our senses! Give it a listen if you’re interested!:)

Mostly everybody can develop all of their clair senses, tho I have heard of cases where people can be “blind” in an area. But if you feel your sniffer is sniffing a bit more, I’d go with it.

I’m recently discovering my cairsalience as I’ve always had a sensitive nose and hated bad smells. But I’ve noticed I can “smell” something even before I’ve gotten close to it. I can see things from far away and know what they smell like. I can imagine what things smell like by calling them to mind.

I’d just try to strengthen your relationship between the smells and their source. The smells themselves will become more in depth and complex as the skill grows, but being able to identify the source or why youre smelling it is handy.
