What type of music is it?!

I know this is a weird question but I’m trying to find out a type of music from the Middle East to listen to when I meditate . You hear it in movies and docs about Egypt or Arabic cultures. It’s often a woman who…um…well, the only thing I could compare it to is, wailing? But in a controlled manner. There are never lyrics. I think it’s some form of prayer that has no words. It just sounds really beautiful and it relaxes me.
