What’s the difference a channeler and a regular medium?

What’s the difference a channeler and a medium? Are all channellers mediums? Are all mediums channellers? This last question is embarrassing but here goes nothing- what is a channeller TRULY?

Mediums channel spirits of the dead. All mediums (who work with spirits of the dead directly) are channelers. *That said, some people on the internet have other definitions for what being a medium is.* I don’t agree with it, but I can’t change the internet. And in those cases of like “mediumship by pendulum work” (not mediumship to me) they aren’t channelers.

**Not all channelers are mediums.** **Channeling can be channeling any type of spirit. There are a lot more spirit types out there beyond just spirits of humans.**

Some people include channeling to cover channeling energy too. So technically certain types of energy work, could be considered channeling (to some).

Again, people define things differently so there isn’t an agreed up on universal definition. People just have opinions and define things according to their paradigm.

It would be a person who gains information not previously known by the individual without any means of gaining the information other than focusing (centering) the mind.

A medium probably has more broad ESP.

The better question is once it is proved that this is real, what will change? How will you know someone isn’t claiming to be one while taking money from people, from a person who is a psychic?

Psychics contain all channelers and more. Channelers contain all mediums and more.

A psychic is someone who uses any kind of spirituality to gain information.
A channeler is someone who channels/connects to entities.
A medium is someone who connects to passed away people of pets.
