Whats the steps in practicing mediumship?

I am deeply spiritual, as is a few of my family members and I’ve had a deep sense that I should make the jump to take on the practice of mediumship. The topic slightly scared me for many years but in the last couple years I’ve felt like the time is right. I have so many questions, hopefully this sub can help

What would the first step be?
Should I learn through the spiritualist chuch?
What books would you recommend?
I meditate regularly, but how can I implement this into practicing mediumship?
Is there a path of progression?

The list really goes on, but a starting point would be great

Open up your third eye more, that does the trick 🙂 Of course everything needs practice, but you will get there, and start to talk to them regularly
