What’s your “and this is why the whole chart matters” aspect(s) in your chart?

Newbie/amateur here. I think when you’re first getting into astrology, it’s easy to read up on one aspect of your chart and isolate it from the rest of your placements, when in fact you need to zoom back out to the big picture. I’ve certainly been guilty of diving down this rabbit hole.

Ofc it’s important to familiarize ourselves with our individual aspects, but I’d wager all of us have at least one aspect that doesn’t resonate 100 percent, which may be confusing or even frustrating. But just because you don’t resonate with a detail in your natal chart doesn’t mean there’s something wrong or that it’s bad. Always consider the bigger picture, be it the signs that these planets are placed in, other planets at play, transits, etc. It all tells the story of you!

Example: I have Sun/Jupiter conjunct, which talks about a “larger than life” personality, inflated ego, bountiful/cheerful outlook on life, etc. I struggle to resonate with this

Broader context: Pluto squares both of these planets, and Pluto opposes my ASC. This can speak a lot towards an inner conflict, power struggles, intense self-esteem/confidence issues, etc. I’m also a Cap moon, which can simmer down that “larger than life” personality of mine

I’m less impulsive than your average Sagittarius! Tons and tons of Saturn! I know that if I make the wrong move morally and/or ethically, Saturn will make me pay! Karma, karma, and more karma! That’s what they serve at the Karma Cafe!

I’m also not as open in relationships as other Sagittarius. I’m not the negative stereotype of ‘the player’ that some Sagittarians have! I have Venus conjunct Pluto, both in Scorpio!

my sun conjunct mars in the 9th. I did not relate to the taurus stereotypes at all but having my sun conjunct my mars explains the way I pursue my goals with a lot of fervor and perhaps have more energy than a taurus is typically know for. Not to mention I have a very short fuse which is not helped by my nearby aries placements (venus and especially saturn). I would describe myself as a very “all or nothing” person in most aspects of my life, namely my professional career, my relationships with others, and my relationship with myself. Trying to learn more about my moon conjunct Jupiter which is in opposition to my ascendant. But having researched it briefly it seems to suggest I have a difficult time resisting the urge to self-sacrifice and have a disconnect between my ideal self and the self I present to the world
