I saw three dead birds on my walk today which totally rattled me.

This is the same walk I do almost everyday.

First I find two identical small yellow and blue birds about a foot away from each other dead on their backs like they had just stopped mid air and dropped. Definitely not like an animal or person had attacked.

Then around 10 mins later on a different path, I see a dead red breast robin in the exact same way-on it’s back like it had just dropped from the sky.

I had a pretty emotional night last night which is a bit unusual for me. I was crying about about an incident that happened 11 years ago and asking God for a sign but is this it? Three dead birds?

    Hello,

It is good that we invite signs. Ask and we shall receive.

I have come to believe that if the sign does not lift my spirit and bring clarity, then it was not from my higher power.

Were there other birds around? Flying, singing? Perhaps those are a better sign than the ones that have passed.

Blessings and comfort friend. Some wounds take a longer time to turn to gold.

Depending on where you live, birds are starting to mate. It’s common for males to chase a female to exhaustion and they may just fall from the sky and die. The males also chase and fight each other in the air which can also lead to death mid flight.

I suppose it depends on the situation you were thinking about if this is a sign from Spirit or not. I’m inclined to think this is just a natural occurrence due to the time of year. If you were asking for a sign of comfort and confirmation it doesn’t seem like this “sign” gave that to you. I’d keep your eyes open for more signs. Perhaps your sign is still on its way.

Signs are very particular to each individual, however birds have a very similar life progression as the human beings, 1st they have to rely on their parents, until they learn how to fly and live on their own. Dead birds, imo, are only a good omen if the bird is a crow, a vulture or something along those lines. More colorful birds are a bad omen, at least, again, in my very own opinion. They can represent loss of positive life changes or even death of loved ones.
