TrentParticipantIf a person dies very young and unexpectedly and wanted to live a long life, do they have a hard time accepting that they are dead when they do die? Is this a normal process?

The children that I cross stay for many reasons, but, the most prevalent one, is a desire to stay near family.
Some young people choose a time to cross and are prepared on a soul level, even if they do not choose the manner of their death.
If the individual was ill a long time, it can be an easy crossing.
Most souls cross immediately.
Mediums are here, in part, to help the ones who stay too long, and need help to cross.
Edit: I came back to add that sometimes a soul leaves early as a part of their own soul journey. Often, when that occurs, the parents and the child agree to it, before coming into this life. It does not make it any easier. But, in the end, it is all about loving through the process.
