When to (and not to) access my Akashic Records?

Why not ask them to take you to view them when it is the best time for you to do so as an individual soul, and in your best interests? I did not ask to see mine. I was taken there.
Some of us are meant to view them, some of us are not. I was taken. (Who is going to argue with angelic beings? Not me).
They will take you when it is the right time for you.

As funny as it sounds, try to do it at the worst time, then a best time, then a mediocre time.

What would be your intent? Intent appears to be the determining factor. In essence, ask yourself the following question:
Why do I want/need access?
If it is under certain circumstances, regardless of how it is viewed by you at that time, access will be limited. In hindsight we can see this, but it isn’t always apparent when trying. There are specific reasons to seek it. Without a good reason, those who safeguard the records wont give you much to work with, even once access and a connection is made. The knowledge we seek isn’t always the knowledge that is best for us at that time.
Desire complicates things. While it is a tool that can be utilized, more often than not, it isn’t necessary. Simply put, it’s available when you need it, but you have to actually need it. If given something else, trust that it is what was right for you at that time. We are like children, we want things, but we don’t always have the perspective to understand “why” we wanted these things until much later.
Access is granted when ready for it. Until then, take comfort in knowing that someday you will be ready, even if it’s not right now. Accept the little bits and pieces with gratitude.

To peer into the Akasha one must come to union with the ever-pervasive source energy. To be more concise, we’re all already connected, we need only realise. Therefore to tap in follow what you feel down the path that as an individual you must pave. Maintain awareness that you’re the summarisation of pure essence; that which is all things.
