NevilleParticipanti’m just wondering a lot of people talk about karmic stuff where if you say commit suicide you will have to be reincarnated into another life that will maybe mimic the lessons you tried to escape. so in that case can you be forced to reincarnate into a life that will mimic your past life in some day or “punish” you for what you tried to escape from? some people say this. i hope it’s not true

GuestFebruary 3, 2021 at 6:58 amI think you choose, but from outside of this life when you understand your soul and your souls mission/lessons that your soul needs you would choose to come and take the same lessons in order to pass them anyway.
Like failing at a computer game and wanting one more go.

GuestFebruary 3, 2021 at 6:58 amI believe we made the choices before we came here. Most people who walk the spiritual path will tell you the same.
If coming down here and what entail is a choice, I don’t think anyone is forced to come down again and do the same thing just because one dropped out of a class. I mean you were free to pick the class in the 1st place.
Edit: also it is note worthy that the universe does not want to deny any of us if it wants us to exist at all. hence, free will. kind of like as a parent you don’t force your kids to do anything because when they can’t be themselves, they won’t be happy or grow beautifully.

GuestFebruary 3, 2021 at 6:58 amAs someone who actually did this in a previous life, it’s my understanding that the subsequent lives give the chance for a re-do, an opportunity to overcome the previous obstacle by approaching it from another angle. In both the life I ended and my current one, I experienced similar pressures that made ending things look like a very attractive and logical solution. No one wants to suffer, right?
The difference this time is I had a larger support network, experiences like witnessing premature death and its aftermath (school shootings, suicides of friends, social media coverage of death, funerals from childhood), and access to more knowledge about how chemicals work in the brain (thanks to the internet). Because of that, I am better equipped this time.

GuestFebruary 3, 2021 at 6:58 amIn new age spiritual world and life view you seem to have freedom but if you study spiritual science you know that there are higher beings involved and your own higher self that is beyond space and time, your physical body is bound by time and karma but your spirit not.
