GuestFebruary 7, 2021 at 3:20 amThe gold standard is [astrodatabank.com](https://astrodatabank.com) Long standing organization that explains their sources in detail for every entry, and ranks its accuracy. Will give history on countries – for example, when new constitutions come into being, etc.
Easiest way to find a country, city, etc., is just to google the name of the country with the word *astrodatabank*, then ignore all other results. If there’s no astrodatabank page for a country, then you can be pretty certain that a legitimate one just doesn’t exist (is impossible to determine).
Otherwise, one can dig deeply into the history and documents of a country.

GuestFebruary 7, 2021 at 3:20 amThey definitely do exist and you could even run one yourself. If you can google the “birth date” of your country and maybe find a significant time (like here in the us, the date of the Declaration of Independence was used as its birth date and the time it was signed was the birth time) on that day you could plug that info in on a chart calculator!

GuestFebruary 7, 2021 at 3:20 amSure, but one should evaluate what the ‘birth time’ really is.
Like, for example, for America, folks use any one if six different possibilities for the timing of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
Other folks posit that that the nation as it exists now did not come into being until the Ratification of the Constitution. Sept 17, 1787.
Same with nations like France, Italy, and Japan.
