    Hi all!

I recently got some birthday money and want to purchase some physical witchy/spiritual books. I’ve gone through the recommended books in the menu of this page (thank you all for the work you put into that) and realized there are so many!

I love owning physical books and am fortunate enough to be able to buy/store them. I genuinely read more if I own it that way and LOVE marking up/indexing reference books. I already own the following (and am so thankful for it)

    – Llewellyn’s Complete Book of Correspondences: A Comprehensive & Cross-Referenced Resource for Pagans

-Encyclopedia of Witchcraft: The Complete A-Z for the Entire Magical World

    – Encyclopedia of Spirits: The Ultimate Guide to the Magic of Saints, Angels, Fairies, Demons, and Ghosts

    – Kitchen Table Tarot: Pull Up a Chair, Shuffle the Cards, and Let’s Talk Tarot

    TLDR
Which reference books do you recommend physically owning?

Cunningham’s Encyclopedia of Magical Herbs as the reception out in the woods is generally not that great.

Honestly, i’ve stopped buying digital copies of witchy books because more often than not I end up re-buying them in physical form (the ones I like at least). I really tend to mark up and bookmark all my witchy books, and I just find it annoying to do this with digital books.

That being said, I’ve bought a few digitally that I ended up not really connecting with at all, and it’s nice when that happens because they are usually cheaper when bought that way, and I don’t have them cluttering up my physical space!

The book Spellcrafting by Arin Murphy-Hiscock is a really aesthetically beautiful as well as informative book to own in a physical form, as are most of this author’s other books.

It depends on what you practice! Then you can narrow things down depending on what you are gravitating towards

Skinner’s Tables is my go-to book for correspondences. Dunno how it compares to Llewellyn’s, find a PDF and have a look before you buy.
