JessicaParticipantSo I’m new to tarot and thinking of getting my first deck. I don’t really feel attracted to raider waite deck. But for some reason i instantly liked modern witch tarot and everyday witch tarot. I’m confused between these two. Any help which would be better between these two?

Which deck would be better for a beginner except RWS?

GuestJanuary 28, 2021 at 4:16 pmModern Witch is extremely inclusive, especially with regards to LGBTQ.
I haven’t got the Everyday Witch tarot so I can’t speak on that. Have a look at Light Seers aswell and see what you think

GuestJanuary 28, 2021 at 4:16 pmI really don’t like the original RWS art but I love Modern Witch. It closely follows the RWS tradition and symbolism but is more inclusive.
That said I find it really difficult to shuffle and don’t use it as much as I would have hoped

GuestJanuary 28, 2021 at 4:16 pmYou might like The Psychic Tarot Oracle. It’s literally a tarot-oracle hybrid. Based on the RWS but has a word phrase on each card that helps to crystallize the message and the pictures are very different than the normal RWS imagery. Also, in the book that comes with it he tells you what each major arcana card is in relation to his cards. For example, I have his Psychic Tarot for the heart and the Detach card is the death card.
