I’m curious as I’ve heard people say mixed things about them… some bad. I have never talked with or experienced any spirit guides personally.

I have been meditating, asking, begging for 30 years and still nothing.

I’m not even sure what spirit guides are. I believe in spirits. I believe I have seen and communicated with spirits (both ways). Really powerful experiences that aren’t easily explained by logic and physics.

But I’m not sure if I really believe in “spirit guides” in the way people seem to describe them (which is in a kind of fairy godmother kind of way).

And I don’t believe in fairy godmothers.

Seeing a spirit doesn’t make it your spirit guide or even A spirit guide. Seeing a spirit doesn’t mean spirit guides even exist. It just feels like another version of God.

My spirit guide is a demon. You think I’m joking but I’m not and no absolutetly not helpful at all.

Edit: Maybe not a demon but a spirit from a past life that is very angry with me. I think i was not a good person and she’s here to make me do penance in this life.

Mine helped me dodge cancer. So I’m definitely calling that helpful.

I’m only 43 yet I began to get nagging feelings about my colon. We all know colon cancer is preventable and if caught early it’s super survivable. My brother has Krohns disease. Yet I still ignored that nagging feeling. Until one night during a meditation I was made to feel a DEEP sense of regret and kept thinking “I should have checked sooner”. They made me feel what might have been my future (?) and the regret of having colon cancer that spread. They made me feel like I was dying of cancer because of my colon. That woke me up. I went to the doctor and she said colonoscopy doesn’t start for another 7 years. But if you’ve got a nagging feeling let’s do it. So she wrote a referral.

They removed a number of polyps for biopsy. All but 1 were “Pre-cancerous”.

So ya that definitely helped me. Thank you spirit!

Oh yes. In my forties, I went through a rough breakup. Cried… way too much.

One day I was alone in my room, crying. Suddenly I heard in what seemed to be inside my head, “WE SAVED YOU FROM HIM!!”

I jumped up and instantly stopped crying. The idea that somebody could watch me in the privacy of my room kind of freaked me out.

I did finally take the steps to move on though, which was the right thing to do. Life has been good!

Usually, they give me a heads up. I was out walking w/ my daughter to get ice cream., when I got a warning. I told her “they’re here, something’s up” as we turn to go into the store a guy falls down in front of me and scrapes his hand bloody. I carry first aid always. So I helped the man up (he was elderly) and bandaged him and helped him get to his car. This is just ONE instance I have had many, many more. Like them keeping me from going in a car, that later has an accident. Or a big warning not to answer the phone, if the caller is not cool. Yes they help me. Yours help you too. Ask them and they will help. Be specific. They like when you talk to them.

I’ve had a female guide since I was a teenager. I believe she’s an aunt who died when I was little. She was a nurse in life and took an interest in my well being. After she died she actually spoke in my ear and kept me from physical harm. Just getting to know additional guides in the past year. One is a Native American who teaches me with bald eagle symbolism. Very cool because I’ve photographed bald eagles, searched for arrowheads and purchased a turquoise necklace from a Navajo who gave me a knowing gaze. Just found out about another female guide last week. But yes, all helpful and I’m thankful for them.

I have had a vision of mine through Ayahuasca and the take away was the protection was always with me so I can walk through the valley with no fear knowing it’s always with me.

Mine have helped me with getting my shit together, it’s my spirit guides (ancestors) over everything. They’ve helped me keep faith even through the most horrible events that I’m currently going through. You have to put the intention to connect to only those who have good & pure intentions, I personally pray to arch Angel Michael to keep those bad ancestors from me, trust me we all have people in our bloodline who were on fuck shit. You can work with them but if you don’t know how, I highly suggest you to stay away. My ancestors are my only family, I’ve gone through a lot & it’s a love like no other. ATR’s focus a lot on ancestors if you want to learn more you can through them, ancestor altars don’t belong only to ATR’s, I’m Mexican & we celebrate them on día de muertos, but regardless you can pray & connect to them, I highly suggest it 🙂

Well for my part I can say that there were trying to help me and warn me multiple times. Everytime I was like ”nah whatever”. And then I was like ”holy shit they were right”.

They totally help me. They always have our best interest at heart, and they won’t intervene to prevent me from making a “bad” decision, necessarily. I know they’re there in my gut feeling, in my intuitive feelings about situations. I try to pray to them often, and when I wait for an answer, I get it through my gut, and I take that as a response from them.
