I’m not a skeptic, but debunkers almost convince me this is all fake sometimes. I want it to be real so bad but there are alot of people that just do mediumship for the money and trick innocent people. It sucks that it gets such a bad rep.

I am a skeptic. I am a psychic. There is a lot of scamming, fakery and plain exaggeration that goes on in connection with paranormal issues

When one takes the time.to evaluate a new occurrence, a set of circumstances and psychic phenomena, such as mediumship by eliminating what could be happening and leaving what cannot be explained away, one can be left with unexplainable truth, or. Strong evidence of truth.

There is nothing wrong with being skeptical. Skepticism can lead to wisdom denial of evidence is something else altogether. And, frankly, too many individuals have been deliberately scammed

    Skepticism is a good thing.

Because they believe that mediums/psychics are scammers preying on people in grief

The construct, program, framework, whatever you want to call it, for these phenomenon is as old as humanity itself, and as far as I can tell, is the most real to the people who earnestly believe it with every fiber of their being. It can be totally mysterious and accurate for some, or a fancy yet unexplained magic trick to others. But then there are those who deliberately choose to throw up blinders in and around their being, who can effectively convince themselves that there is nothing to see here.. move along, and so on. That doesn’t mean the active construct of the collective unconscious realms or Universal Realm doesn’t exist. It just means they can’t (for protective reasons), won’t (stuck in stubborn old ways), or just don’t want to see it perhaps out of fear. Not to mention the outspoken among the naysayers, who seem to be almost narcissistic in their non-belief.

I think of mediums and psychics as teachers and healers, and if what they do does those things and it helps people, well it’s hard to get a bad rep to stick to that.

I think it’s society programming certain beliefs that it’s scary fake or wrong and also some people are frightened of the unknown. Mediumship helps souls heal and on earth we all need to make a living! Just like the various types of therapists or any other type of healing “career.” Yes sadly there are scammers just like in any industry, but I wouldn’t let it ruin the whole idea. I’ve had good experiences and I’d just be careful with debunkers these days. It’s always best to find out for yourself!

Because that is how the mind is. When it does not comprehend, grasp something. It tries to figure it out in a way that questions the concept which can sometimes be by assuming it is wrong to begin with. I don’t personally agree with this method, as I acknowledge the reality one can shape in his mind (through beliefs, etc.) is to be accepted on a universal level.

They were dumb enough to fall for scammers so like a triggered video game let’s player who got a game over they scream “THIS IS BULLSHIT!!!” and never touch it again. I don’t think it’s a coincidence I beat many Megaman games and believe in the spiritual. Both take humility and awareness of traps.

Umm…because it’s not real. I truly don’t believe that anyone truly believes they’ve had a spot on reading. It’s false hope. I’ve been watching a lot of medium fail videos proving it’s a technique that is learned and most of the time doesn’t go right. It’s a guessing game. A talent but not physic abilities. I’ve been trying to figure out how Matt Fraser does it. He’s an entertainer and most likely has a team that gathers information for him and that’s how he does his shtick. AND remember…it’s all for t.v. and his miss-reads are edited out. AND remember it’s all about the money. I feel badly for his victims. Why is he not out there solving crimes? Why are his readings all of the same formula? He’s a great entertainer but that’s all he is. The truth will come out one day. He has a gimmick. They all do. His gimmick will be revealed. Just like The Long Island Medium, John Edwards and so on. All for t.v.
