Why do people say that Scorpio is the craziest and the most complex sign?

Autumn signs are said to be like this. The Winter signs are less crazy because they are more evolved.

Scorpios aren’t any more or less crazy or complex than any other sign. A lot of the modern day stereotypes have to do with Halloween being during Scorpio season and the notion in modern astrology of associating the signs with the houses, thus tying Scorpio to the 8th house: things that are taboo, which nowadays is basically just sex and death. Though traditionally sex is tied to the spring months.

If you really want to get into it, Scorpio is one end of what I like to refer to as the possession/obsession axis (the other end being Taurus). All signs opposite each other share a lot of the same qualities, one just manifests it externally, the other internally. Earth signs are all about their external environment, so a fixed earth sign like Taurus will do anything to create a perfect, comfortable environment and will do everything in their power to keep it exactly the same. Water signs are about the internal environment, the emotions. Scorpio is a fixed water sign, so like Taurus, Scorpio will do everything in their power find/create a comfortable internal state and will do anything to keep that emotional state. Both signs hyper-fixate on something/someone that brings them joy. Both signs are extremely slow to trust. Both will hold a grudge for life if you betray them because they just can’t let it go.

But Taurus isn’t considered crazy or complex because everyone else can see what Taurus is doing. You can’t see what people are feeling, nor can you control their emotions. *That’s* why Scorpio is scary to people, *that’s* why people think they’re oh so mysterious.

I think it’s because we see into people and are not surface level people. Either you are someone of substance or just superficial.

Shedding our old selves is quiet common, most of the people like my sign seem to able to do an endless transition from one field to another and pretty much do it effortlessly.

Whether they start in one field and get bored rather quickly and will do something completely different and it’s as if we have been doing it the entire time.

As for the crazy for me it’s the all or nothing approach. The laser focus on whatever I am pursuing can be seen as crazy in so that it can be to my detriment.

I was once told that Scorpio’s don’t know how easy it is for them to become a serial killer but they work hard at not actually becoming one.

Years later I see how that could be a possibility.

The best explanation for why folks feel some kind of way about scorpio(and their own placement/house) is bc scorpio rules the genitals the same way it rules expulsions/toxins.

Feels good coming out but if you keep it in too long, itll build up into something ugly(that still feels pretty good coming out tbh)
