Can you choose reincarnation or is it forced?

I wanna know if reincarnation is optional or not. Honestly when I go I don’t wanna come back as someone else, I wanna just stay (unless they’re choosing to go for round 2) with all my dead family. Is that an option or do you just reincarnate instantly?

No. You are bound to karma until you are not. You might get to choose when and how long you stay but until nirvana we have very little control of incarnation. I feel that there is also spiritual cohorts. Others we have connections with in that realm whom we continue to meet in each life. We have a team. I suspect reincarnation at will to be something possible but idk. The last person my mother saw before she was born into here new being was me. My mind showed it as a train. I was sitting across the seat from her. She was carrying luggage – baggage from her past life – but she was happy. She knew more about where she was going then I did. She knew she was either coming right back into this world to be near my older brother who passed away 17 years before and my great grandmother who preceded her 21 years. She had my older brother on her 21st birthday. My brother had his first on his 21st birthday. It goes back. There is a period after death in which most people I love show up in dreams. My great-grandmother addressed me in the most direct way. Explaining that she had always loved me – without knowing I had suspected her of not while she was living – and that my life would be harder because of who I was. In life she was the first person to call me a fag. My nana just let me feel a memory but the entirety of it. My mom had done something really hurtful after nana passed and I prayed for her comfort. That night I dreamt of a time my mother had dumped me off with her and she calmed me down. I felt it all tho. My sadness. Her love. Her guilt. Her resilience to make sure I knew I was loved regardless. My older brother is the only one who is am certain did not re-incarnate as he showed up with and ahnk proclaiming he would always be there.

It’s not optional. You reincarnate until you have learned to “master duality” at which point there are no more lessons that you can learn in the physical body. Then you move on to other levels. Mastering duality means you can be at peace regardless of your negative emotions and negative life events.
