I know a few people with aqua moons and I though that the “detaching” should be understood as them disappearing from the face of the Earth for days (which can definitely happen through text) but I just realized that for all of these aqua moons it’s that the detachment is expressed through them still being and staying present in the actual situation but it’s the emotional investment of the situation they detach themselves from, and this makes so much difference because I thought up until now that the aqua way of “detaching” is the same as daydreaming or same as some neptunian or pisces type of spacing out, because they are not detaching from the whole situation but just a part of it, so I’m curious now, what’s the internal process you aqua moons go through when this happens? Is the detachment intentional and by choice or is it a subconscious thing? Is it that you just don’t want to invest yourself that much into it?

The moon in aquarius is known as peregrine, a traveler, with no essential dignity.

Basically it always means that an aquarius moon feels detached and foreign to the group. That detachment is something we do naturally whether we want to or not.

I detach from groups because I feel I don’t belong or that I am annoying them in someway.

Personally I like it. Keeps me from having to waste time with bad people.

Taurus sun, aquarius moon and virgo rising here! Yes I can have a form of detachments from my emotions sometimes It’s like I still listen to what I feel but from a higher point of view especially when I listen to someone who speaks about his own feelings.

Hi there! Also a fellow Aquarius moon, for reference my sun is Capricorn & rising is Aries.

I tend to detach from conversations and situations when I feel my inner peace is being threatened, i.e. someone is trying to make me feel a certain way, the conversation is no longer a discussion and turns into a debate, etc. I really hate putting up with bullshit so as soon as I get a whiff of the conversation/situation turning to a direction that is just honestly, *a waste of my time*, I detach.

I also do want to point out if I feel I am becoming too emotional, I also detach. I don’t see the benefit in myself acting out irrationally due to emotion, and would much rather take a step back and observe the whole situation from ALL perspectives. I feel it is necessary that I check myself to make sure the best course of action is taken for everyone.

My boyfriend has an Aquarius moon. I poke fun at him because he’s like Data from Star Trek. His motto is “I need some time to process that”

Me 5! Cancer Sun/ Aqua Moon, I can handle some emotions from others but not like all of them because it seems like some people also want me to the help them with all of their problems and I just can’t do it. I’m an Empath too so I can feel it coming! I detach literally as they’re talking and I drift into my exit plan

I never had tears rolling down when my mom fell ill for days, but I definitely tried to think what she had eaten the day before.
